When you use our resume editor, the resume content you enter (work history, education, skills, etc.) is stored locally in your browser's storage. We do not transmit your resume data to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it, such as the AI Writing Assistant.

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and maintain our resume-building service
Process AI Writing Assistant requests for premium users
Send account-related communications
Improve our templates and features

3. Data Storage

Your resume data is stored in your browser's local storage. This means your data stays on your device unless you use features that require server processing (e.g., AI suggestions). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Writing Assistant

When you use the AI Writing Assistant, your text is sent to a language model API to generate suggestions. This text is processed in real-time and is not stored by us after the response is generated. Free plan users who provide their own API key send requests directly to the AI provider from their browser.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use anonymous analytics to understand how our service is used. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

6. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Since resume data is stored locally, clearing your browser data will remove it. You may request a copy of any data we hold about you by contacting us.
